Why facilities teams are evaluating ServiceNow alternatives
ServiceNow built its reputation on IT service management. The Facilities Service Management module is essentially the same ITSM workflow engine rebadged for facility tickets — there is no wayfinding, no indoor mapping, no visual space utilization, and no visitor journey. Getting basic floor plan visibility often requires third-party plugins or custom apps. For organizations that primarily need indoor mapping, wayfinding, and space management, ServiceNow is typically not the right foundation.
